Nebraska: At first looks like a boring blue state seal flag but it's actually quite beautiful. I like the simple color scheme. I'm mixed on the idea of slogans on flags but you can't go wrong with these. A great state seal indeed. A

Haarlem, Noord Holland: I have never seen this flag! Maybe I should look at some more Dutch flags for comparison. This is very vivid. The balance is a bit odd to me, I think I'd expect to either see it smaller or centered, but it looks great on a pole. Strong B.

South Carolina is one of my favorite state flags: very charming, very individual. A

Texas flag is iconic and brilliant in its simplicity but looks too much like Chile’s (which predates it). Soft B

Iowa flag looks like a prop in an Alex Garland movie where France won the revolutionary war. F
